SheCan Worthing one-day course
We are now running SheCan one day training courses in Worthing.
The courses follow our proven syllabus that we have been running in Brighton & beyond for the last 12 months+.
A one-day Sunday course with adaptable content based around what you’d like to learn. Below is a selection of the content we can cover, but I’m happy to concentrate on particular skills that are useful to you.
Based in the heart of Worthing at a venue chosen to suit the course, numbers attending and needs of our students.
Courses run on Sundays
10am–5pm.
Venue: The Heene Community Centre, Heene Road, Worthing
Price: £180+booking fee per person
Free parking and refreshments included.

Tools & materials
Types of tools, woods and other materials; work bench options and how to stay safe. You’ll also be making something useful to take home with you.
Re-Sealing the bath/shower
Using newly designed tools this much requested nasty can go on the 'yes we can' list.
Drilling, cutting & fixing
Different drills, what they do and how to use them safely; types of screws, fittings and fastenings.
Decorating
Preparation, masking and sanding techniques; filling and prepping walls, caulking; primer, top coats and varnish; wallpapering; how to stay safe on ladders and platforms.
Shelves, doors & hinges
Putting up shelves, pictures and curtain rails; how to fix and adjust wobbly hinges, and loose door handles.
